Farmers’ protests against farm bills passed in Parliament had a strong impact in many parts of the country on Friday, the most affected being Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand, Karnataka and West Bengal too saw farmers coming out in protest.
