SC objects to law minister’s remarks, says government sitting on judges’ names

The Supreme Court on Monday said the Centre is frustrating the appointment process of judges in higher judiciary by not clearing names recommended by its collegium in violation of law and asked it to resolve the issue and not force it to “take decision on the judicial side”.
