Former Madhya Pradesh minister Raja Pateria was arrested in his home in Damoh district early Tuesday for his alleged “kill Modi” remarks and a court remanded him in jail. The Congress functionary’s remarks, which he said were “misinterpreted”, have been condemned by parties across the spectrum, including his own.
