Experts attending a three-day international seminar cum workshop on “Exploring the World of Gems: Gemology, Prospecting and Identification” at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore said students, traders and others need to know about gemstones to identify good quality products.The experts said people cannot get confused if they get real knowledge about the gemstones. “We can find natural, synthetic and other types of gems. Students of geology should acquire the art of identifying the types of gems.
