Out of a total 204.7 cr persondays of work generated under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme since April this year women account for 52.5% (107.4 cr) persondays. In terms of absolute numbers over 4.3 cr women have been provided employment since April.
