Rescued from begging on Uttar Pradesh streets, female elephant Holly spent five years receiving care at the Elephant Hospital Campus in Mathura. Wildlife SOS brought Holly to the campus in 2018, where she began a new life. Holly, a geriatric elephant, suffered from blindness and severe arthritis. Through topical medication, laser therapy, and hydrotherapy, Holly gained strength in her legs. The bond with another elephant, Kalpana, supported Holly's psychological healing.
