Former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh was apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate, shortly after an anti-corruption court rejected his request for anticipatory bail in a money laundering case. This case, filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), pertains to an educational trust administered by his wife and former legislator, Kanta Andotra, according to officials.
