On Wednesday morning, Datta Dalvi, the ex-Mayor of Mumbai and leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), was apprehended on charges of employing offensive language and making inappropriate comments directed at CM Eknath Shinde during a public gathering on Monday. Law enforcement confirmed Dalvi's arrest on Wednesday and subsequently presented him before the local court, where he was remanded to judicial custody until December 12.
