SC questions delay in assent to bills: What was Tamil Nadu governor doing for 3 years?

The Supreme Court has expressed frustration with the delay of Tamil Nadu governor R N Ravi in processing bills passed by the assembly. The court questioned why the governor took three years to take action and cleared some long-pending bills only after the court's order. The attorney general informed said that since January 2020, the governor had cleared only 151 out of the 181 bills, while the three were held for some reason.
